I meant to use this yarn in August as I’m keen to clear my miniscule stash, but for various reasons it’s slipped over into September. Just using my usual plain sock pattern and letting the colours in the yarn do the talking. I will get around to making a nice patterned sock one day. Maybe I’ll buy a nice plain sock yarn at Ally Pally in October.

Hadn’t picked this up since the weekend, but have just turned the heel of the first sock this evening. The wool seems nice to work with – quite firm, so it will be interesting to see how much it softens with washing.

Haven’t done much to these for a couple of weeks. I made a mistake with picking up stitches from the heel and ended up with holes which I can’t forgive, so I’m working back to correct that. However for now it’s all on hold whilst I finish the slope rib cardigan. I’m hoping to go back to these and have them done before my trip to Alexandra Palace in October.

The Slope Rib Cardigan is all but finished, and I’ve picked these up again. I unpicked back to the point where I’d turned the heel, and re-did the picking up of stitches avoiding the holes I got last time, and have whizzed along with them during my lunch break and this evening. Beginning to shape the toe of the first sock so should have that finished tomorrow night. I’m liking this yarn, although it does feel quite thin after the previous Colinette sock yarn.

Finally finished these this morning, having dawdled through them. Quick wash needed then they’ll be ready to join the others in my collection.
