Notes:

11 August 2009:

Started these socks early this year, left the first one hibernating for many months, and returned as part of my August goal to finish off some outstanding bits and pieces.

First socks using Colinette Jitterbug and a pleasant knitting experience. The yarn has softened with the first wash. But I think these are going to be very warm, winter socks.

All in all very pleased with the result and can’t wait for the chilly weather.

Post-Script – 25 November 2009:

These socks have been worn a few times now and I just wanted to note how lovely they are. The yarn has become super-soft and squishy after washing and these are definitely very nice socks indeed. I’ve upgraded my opinion of this yarn to 5 stars.
