Started: March 27th 2011
Finished: March 30th 2011

Name: Albert Steptoe Mitts
Pattern: None; just made it up
Craft: Knitting
Made for: Me
Size: Smallish hand

Yarn: JC Rennie Supersoft Lambswood 2/11.3nm 900g cone (partial); colour = Nightshade
Needles: 2.5mm double point

Notes:

Fingerless gloves/miser mittens as favoured by elderly rag and bone men during the 1960s. Very plain, minimal shaping, quick to knit because they are needed right now – who on earth designed a warm early spring jacket then gave it 3/4 length sleeves? There may be more decorative versions in the future, but these are 100% a solution to an immediate problem.
